Publisher Freedom Games reveals the schedule for the label’s second summer showcase. The event will feature game reveals, release date announcements, developer interviews, surprises for fans, and updates on some of the most exciting indie games on the horizon.
On Friday, June 10, the IGN Summer of Gaming Expo will air on YouTube and Twitch. The Freedom showcase will highlight a double digit’s worth of genre-bending titles.
Anticipated titles include:
One Lonely Outpost, the farming sim set on a barren alien planet from Aurorian Studios
Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga, the pixel squad-based tactics RPG from Dancing Dragon Games
Retreat to Enen, the meditative survival crafting sim from Head West
9 Years of Shadows, the beautiful, hand-crafted, colorfully dark Metroidvania from Halberd Studios

Tyrant’s Blessing, the intense tactical grid, turn-based RPG from Mercury Game Studios
“The summer is one of our favorite times of the year where we get to join the rest of our industry colleagues in celebrating the entertainment medium we all love,” said Benjamin Tarsa, Director of Publishing, Freedom Games.
“We set the bar high last year with our first summer showcase and shadowdropping Dark Deity during E3’s official stream. This year, we fully expect to raise the bar even higher.”
